Sylvia’s third chapbook, VIGIL, explored ideas of grief and identity. She released the Chapbook on her birthday, September 29, 2023 at the Tube Factory artspace. At her release show, Like Water performed original music, followed by Sylvia’s reading and performance of this new body of work.

The cover work was done by the artist, Astro Carter. Over 300 copies of VIGIL have been sold.

Through this collection, she created her first body of work for a visual arts show as an extension of the chapbook. The show, Letters to a Haunted House, was hosted at the Guichelaar Gallery,
